We are a partnership between the San Diego Public Library Foundation and the Friends of the Library. All proceeds benefit the San Diego Public Library system. We have a carefully curated selection of books, jewelry, children’s merchandise, gifts and art. We support local vendors and artisans whenever possible. Come down and check us out! We are located on the ground floor of the San Diego Central Library @ Joan Λ Irwin Jacobs Common, near the entrance.
July 2, 7-10 pm Booked for the Evening. Join the Central Library and the Library Shop at an evening cocktail party to celebrate the opening of the latest gallery exhibit, The Art of Comic-Con. Guests can mingle on the 9th floor patio, explore the gallery, enjoy cocktails from Barcon and food from A Vetted Table. Stations manned by Little Fish Comic Studio head Alonso Nunez will be set up so that guests can make their own comics while they relax, listen to a DJ spin tunes and take in the gorgeous East Village views. Each ticket includes heavy appetizers and one drink of your choice, but the bar will be open all night. This is a unique cultural experience you won’t want to miss! Buy tickets for Booked for the Evening.
