Editorial: Council must get firm bid on library

The Union Tribune editorial board today encouragd the San Diego City Council to move the new Central Library to the construction bid process in its meting Tuesday. To read that editorial, VISIT HERE.
"The San Diego City Council can act tomorrow to finally find out what it would really cost to build the new central library that ahs been on drawing boards and wish-lists for more than two decades. It would be foolish not to take that step," the editorial said.
The San Diego Public Library Foundaiton and Friends of the San Diego Public Library encourage library supporters to make their endorsement of this project heard by attending the meeting or writing their Council member.
