City Council continues to consider proposed branch closures
Following two Council meetings characterized by strong public support for libraries, the San Diego City Council will deliberate on Mayor Sanders' proposal to temporarily close seven branch libraries on Monday, November 24.
The meeting is in the Council Chambers on the 12th floor of the City Administration Building at 202 "C" Street. Library patrons are encouraged to attend the meeting to show their support. Concerned library supporters can contact their City Council representatives to express opposition to the proposed closures.
